The Center for Mechanical Industries emerged from the Ibn Al-Haytham Center for Industries and was established in 2017.

The Mechanical Industries Center consists of the following factories:

• Tajoura Factory for Mechanical Industries.
• Metalwork Factory.
• Overhaul and missile lab.
• Factory Feb 17.

The Mechanical Industries Center provides and manufactures the following:

• Home cooking gas cylinder.
• Cabinets of all kinds.
• Office and school furniture industry.
• Manufacture of spare parts for factories.
